CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Integrated Yoga Therapy
(IYT) promotes health and healing at the physical, emotional and spiritual levels. This mind/body
approach is meant to facilitate awakening to your own true source of wellness. All aspects of
Yoga; poses, breath practice, hand and body gestures, guided imagery and meditation are
integrated for a complete practice. While you will get plenty of asana (poses), this class will have
you believing that it is better to learn to relax your nerves than to touch your toes! It is about how you
do whatever you can do

Vinyasa Flow Yoga
Vinyasa literally means to “place in a special way”,and it is the linking of Hatha yoga poses
(asanas) into flowing sequences that enable our bodies to take center stage and be the guide for
our yoga journey. This mindful, movement-based practice leads to enhanced freedom in the body
and encourages each of us to become aware of our energetic essence, or Prana, as a force for
transformation. The focus is on strengthening the physical body through movement while
connecting the mind to the sensations of the body through breath awareness. Safe alignment is
encouraged and modifications are offered for all levels of students.

Svaroopa® Yoga
This class is most appropriate for students new to Hatha yoga in the Svaroopa® yoga style and all
levels of practice. Svaroopa® translates as “the bliss of one’s own being” . We will practice with a
slow and easy format as we support the body in poses that carefully and gradually release the
deepest layers of tension resulting in an overall feeling of well being. Join us in this
compassionate and gentle approach to the body.

Mid Week Melt-Down
This multi-level class offers a balanced mix of strengthening and stretching that will melt away
stress and tension so you can face the rest of your week with a lighter heart. Drawing from several
yoga traditions including Hatha, Kundalini, Yin/Yang and Chakra yoga styles, this class will get into
all the nooks and crannies and leave you feeling refreshed and relaxed.

Prana Flow® Yoga
Prana Flow® Energetic Vinyasa is a full spectrum approach to embodying the flow of yoga created
by Shiva Rea. Students of all levels are empowered to experience prana- the universal source of
breath, life-energy and conscious intelligence- as the navigating source of yoga practice and vital
living. Experience innovative approaches to vinyasa yoga and the state of flow within the rhythm of
a class.

Therapeutic Yoga
A gentle, flowing yoga class using a combination of self-assisted (propbased) poses and
restorative poses. The format will cover asana and pranayama techniques (posture and breath) to
improve posture, generate awareness of spinal health and lower stress levels. Appropriate for
beginners and those seeking a mindful, calming practice.

Sunrise Yoga
Set the tone for your day by beginning with Hatha Yoga, some breath work and silent meditation.
Take the practice off the matt and into your work and daily life!

Beginners Yoga
A fun, gentle, flowing class to start your week that uses a combination of modified and/or self
assisted prop-based poses. A focus on asana and pranayama techniques will embrace "listening
to one's body" while exploring asana form and alignment to improve body awareness and reduce
stress levels.

Spaaah Yoga
Join us and let go of your worries and stresses of the week with a slow-paced, "relax and release"
yoga session. Restorative yoga postures are completely supported to allow the mind to quiet and
enable the body to truly relax, to let go of inner tension and sink deeper into our stretches. No prior
yoga experience is necessary, just the desire to find your inner bliss!
